jQuery Fundamentals.. für lau

Kostenlose Bücher und Tutorials zum Thema Javascript gibt es im Internet wie Sand am Meer und ganz ehrlich, die Tutorials sind oft von mittelmässiger Qualität oder funktionieren nicht. Doch ab und zu stösst man in den Weiten des WWW auf wahre “Know-How-Perlen” welche man mit anderen teilen möchte.

jQuery Fundamentals von Rebecca Murphey ist so eine Perle welche ich gerne mit euch teilen möchte :)

Warum? Ganz einfach.. das Buch ist eine ausgezeichnet geschriebene Einleitung in Javascript und jQuery.. ja richtig.. Javascript UND jQuery. Warum ich das so toll finde? Weil die Verwendung von jQuery heute so einfach ist, dass viele Frischlinge gar keine Ahnung haben was Javascript eigentlich ist, wie es funktioniert und was überhaupt ein Javascript Framework ist.. weil man sich halt alles zusammenkopieren kann.

Für Frischlinge empfehle ich das ganze Buch zu lesen.. für Leute welche schon einwenig Ahnung haben empfehle ich folgende Themen:

• Scope
• Namespacing Events
• Increasing Performance with Event Delegation
• Working with JSONP
• Beware anonymous functions
• The Module Pattern
• Custom Events
• Managing Dependencies

.. und damit das Ganze nicht all zu trocken daherkommt, gibts zu jedem Thema Code-Beispiele zum kopieren und testen.
